As I was boiling up some Kraft Mac 'n' Cheese last night, I heard a deafening shatter from the other room. I ran into the other room and saw the 10g that a recently adopted BP was in shattered on the floor. I think, somehow my GF's kitten knocked it off the dresser. I needed to get a new enclosure for the snake anyway as his 3 ft was horribly cramped. In a rush, using what tools and material were on hand I knocked together this enclosure. Don't hate on it too much. All I had was a sawzall and screwgun. I think this will suit him better until I can get something better looking and more appropriate. It is 48"x 18" x 18"

two hides one on the cool spot and one on the cold side.. looks good but all the ventilation.. it may get cool in there without you knowing..

more input is needed!

Throw some towels over that bad boy to keep in some heat and your good...

hows the biting going? nice work for slapping it together, what it take ya like 2 hours?

..unless your room is a constant 55% humidity..i have to say that wont work..

you'd be better off getting a clear tote from walmart or target..or ..wherever you can get one..

The biting is getting better. He seems a lot more laid back now that he's out of that little tiny 10g. 2 hours is about right, maybe a little less. I now the humidity is going to be an issue, but it is going to have to do for now. I'm in the middle of a move and all my extra dough has gone to deposits and the like.

for ball pythons as long as you have a liitle cozy water dish your fine on humidity. you can also put them in a tub of water for a couple of hours when their eyes glaze over to assist in the shed.

ball pythons are really hardy when it comes to specifics.
the only thing i would worry about is the wire he/she will rub there nose raw on it.
At home depot if you dont want to fully plexy everything they have a black plastic mess with half in holes. i used it on my big snakes cage for air hole on the sides.
other then that you did a great job.

Just my 2 cents
