My clown knife was never a big eater but now he won't eat anything and is very shy. I've tried shrimp pellets and earth worms. Will I need to feed him live foods. What do you guys feed yours? Please help any clown knife advice is welcomed.

Ive had them in the past and they werent picky eaters. Mine ate massivore and all kinds of frozen food. What size is yours and what are its tankmates? They can get beat up by most any other monster fish to the point they just hide a lot
He's about 8 inches any his tank mates are panfish and large goldfish and some passive large catfish. They have never done anything to hurt him and they leave him alone.He has gas bubble disease could that be affecting his appetite?
Mine loves rosey red minnows but will eat almost anything moving. Shy is normal when lights are on, in the dark mine becomes a true monster.
