I ave two Firemouths Cichlids, Yesterday i did a 25% water change and turned up the heater slowly to reach a goal or 82 deg for my silver Arowana. This morning i noticed one was dead and the other was very sick. it looked like the other Firemouth had picked at the body of the other, being that there were some white spots or scales missing.

Is what happened a result of water conditions or Temp change.
Please help my Firemouth isn't looking good.

Most new fish I put in a Q tank just in case something goes wrong. If you have a Quartine tank put them in there and watch them to see if anything goes wrong ,It helps to put some aquarium salt as well hope it helps!

yeah it's not going to be from the temp...def. check and post the water parameters

Just don't lose the Arowana.....that one aint cheap....

yea +1 take out the fire mouth and make sure the aro survives ...........

but fire mouths are very territorial they could have fought and one won :)
