Emergency! Fish can't breathe!

My dovi fish is having a really hard time breatheing but getting just enough air to live, I'm trying to use the bubbler yo help air directly to him but he still is having a really hard time, I don't know what else to do, I've googled and searched just about everything, please help!! Trying what we can to help get air.

What's it doing. Have u checked your ammonia. Ammonia will make fish gasp at the surface and make it hard to breath

Lower temp water holds more oxygen and slows metabolic functions. How long has the fish had an issue?

We checked all that and removed him out of the current water situation, sadly he didn't make it thank you for trying to help.

Just found out today we think he may have been in shock or something trying to help him, may have been to much, sadly he didn't make it thank you for the help.

Very sorry man. I lost a 14" dovii a couple of weeks ago. It was like a punch in the gut.
