I just got a snowflake eel really cheap, because it was getting really close to dying like literally on its last minutes/hours of life. I have it on a brackish drip right now, because it was kept in freshwater. It's starting to look better, but is there anything else that I could do to revive it?

Brackish might help but I wouldn't expect it to save the fish. The temp and water conditions are things I saw benefited my eel more than salinity. Salinity fluctuation will help it fight infectious diseases though. so going salt with it might help it kick any parasites it could have.

These fish are pretty much goners once they start going downhill. It's my guess this thing probably hasn't eaten in months, as they are difficult to get eating in captivity.
