i was doing my regular chemical checks on my tank today, things were a tad high but not bad, i did a 15% water change like i always do, as soon as i finished i noticed my RTC behaving strangely (there was no spike in tempature or anything) he was swimming vertically towards the surface with his mouth wide open (he hasn't done this before) nothing else has changed... this all started about 2 hours after i finsihed the water change before that, he and everyone else was acting normal.

all of a sudden he has kind of leveled out and isn't moving and his gills are barely moving, i don't know what to do for him.. i'm pretty sure i've just watched him die.

Tons of oxygen, everyone else is fine, 2 emperor 450 with water fall.. saturating water with bubbles, plus an air stone.. he wasn't hungry (no one in my tank every is).. and i'm sorry to inform everyone, he did not make it, this is not what i wanted my first post on the board to be about :(

Thanks again guys, it was just too late, and unfortunately there were ZERO signs anything was wrong up until the last minutes

OK i'm back and i'm pretty sure i found the source of my mysterious death... and i'm wondering what exactly i should do now.. after posting something about my catfish dying on a facebook status a customer of my shop (where this tank is) sent me a message saying "sorry about your fish i hope i didn't over feed them and kill them" wondering what he fed him i found out later.. this idiot though aquarium salts was food and dumped a bunch in, i walked into work to day to find my pleco dead... other than another controlled water change what should i do?

Oh my god!! That is just terrible! You definitely want to get all of the salt from the water. Big changes might be best.
