EMERGENCY - SUMP PUMP FILTERATION

This is my first time using sump filtration... I am using Carbon its been a month in 1/2 and wondering when do I change it ??? I pulled bag that is in nylons out to see then placed it back into tub and then it turned my tank cloudy will it settle or is this a sign to change carbon ?? I dont know when and how to tell if it or when it needs to be changed

Just get rid of it all together, stop using, the messy water is from all the crap collecting in it as will always happen

are you saying dont use carbon ??? my sting rays I am worried . Everyone saying it cuts smell what does it do carbon ??

It was nice and clean until I moved the carbon.

ditch the carbon. It is a complete waste of space and money...
