Emergency Water Change

I just got some Pondcare: Melafix. It's stronger than the nomal Melafix. I did a water change yesterday during the day and put some Melafix in to help my Arowana's cloudy eye. I forgot that the Pondcare: Melafix is 5x stronger and I put double the dosage in my tank. I left to go do some errands and later went to a friend's house to hang out. I got home at 1:30am and was really tired. I see my Vampire Pleco pale as can be and my Orino at the top trying to breathe. I then remembered that the Pondcare: Melafix was 5x stronger than the regular Meafix and did an emergency water change at 2am in the middle of the night.

Lesson: Don't forget about how strong some medications are!

Oh yeah...I just woke up to check on the tank and everyone is back to normal.

thats whats great about it..........the fact that you only have to use so little and in the long run you save tons of money...........but like you said watch your dosage...........I used to have to use 3- 6 capfulls with the reg strenght melafix now all i use is a quarter to half a capful!!!!
