A couple of weeks ago my ebjd had hexamita, now my nic is coming down with it. I have a geo rio tapajos that had a sore over the winter that resembled a zit on its side and now has them in 3 spots but none of the symptoms displayed by the ebjd or nic. Since I'm going to pick up ome metro in the morning I am going to buy a starter tank set up and quarintine the geo, even if she isn't spreading parasites she's getting picked on. Anyways, since I don't have time to cycle I want to take sand from my 125 and add it to the new tank along with some fist size stones, my other option would be to take gravel from my 20 which obviously doesn't have as much substrate to spare and I would have to replace what I remove. Should I be concerned with using substrate from a tank with internal paraites?

No substrate. Always keep the hospital tank BARE. Get established filter media from one of your tanks and put it in the filter intended for hospital setups.
