EMP 400 PROB!

My emp400 has been making alot of noise lately, usually when it makes alot of noise it means the impellor needs replacement right? i took out the impellor but it looks fine, no damage or anything. Do I still replace the impellor? Is there something else that could be causeing the noise?

Try taking the filter out and rinsing it completely. Possibly some debris got caught in there. Do you have an airstone near the intake? If so this can also cause problems.

Also,if the actual waterline in the tank is low,the filter will make alot of noise (personal experience)
