emperor cichilids

cant hold off on these monster to be been wanting these guy for so long so another impulse buy. i pick up 2 Emperor cichilids at my LFS there about 2" right now. can wait till it get big. do any people have any more info on them. i want to know more.

I got mine at that size and two months later they are 7". They like to hoard as much food as they can fit in their mouth and can eat all day! I keep mine with burundis and they grow twice as fast. However, the burundis still manage to keep the emps in check.

Great fish! You will have fun watching them mature!

Yeah, that's the clip that made me a fan of Emperors. Mine was the one that is in my avpic and I sure miss it.
