I'm afraid not,not sure which fish in the picture you are even asking about but I don't see any Emperor in there...The yellowish fish look like exochromis.

No,definitely not an emperor...It looks like a stressed out and beaten up aulounacara or protamelas to me...Take a look at RareFish thread in the buy and sell section.There is a photo of a real Emperor juvenile.
