Emperor cichlid

So I was always under the assumption that tanganykan cichlids were smaller fish with the exception of a few. Anyways I just found out about emperor cichlids and having the tank space for such a large fish I'm intrigued , problem is I cannot find them anywhere does anyone out there know where I could find such a fish?

I saw a breeding pair in a hobbyist's fish room near me. They are too big to be kept in a tank. So he built a small pond in his basement to keep them.

Yeah its super big I have 9 peacock bass going into my other big one
