Emporer or penguin bio wheel

Just wondering wich one is better so i know wich one to buy im setting my 90 back up and im gonna run the fluval 304 at the botton of the over flow and wanna run 1 of them at the top of the tank dont know really what im gonna do yet ill figure it out any help would be great thanks in advance

I have both but I prefer the Emperor. It comes with media baskets and you can 'super charge' them.

Use the penguin. I bought my emperor and w/in a month it broke down.

I use a penguin 303 or something on my saltwater tank and it has worked very well for years.

I have two Penguin 330 and like the Emp. they did come with media baskets. You could also try the Aquaclear, I hear they are as good as the others (they lack a bio-wheel though) and they are cheaper.

basically he's saying you can make the filter even more efficient, by adding extra bio or chemical media.

if it was me i would put in some chemipures
