My 20 gallon long is now almost empty, except for 3 peppered cories which will either be moved to another tank or have 3 more friends added to fix the school.

I already have Rams, So I dont want more of them. My water is naturally soft and this tank has a lot of plants in it but they could be moved too if necessary.
I was thinking maybe some sort of shell dweller, but I would need to add some crushed coral, or some other dwarf african cichlids.
Or maybe apistos
or dwarf puffers
Or even a big school of something bright and tiny lol.

or something else entirely?

I have no idea what I want to put in it other than either making it a species tank or a single specimen type centerpeice tank...Really I dont know so give me some ideas!

maybe a dwarf rainbowfish set up, like threadfins or celebes? I've read they have interesting behavior...maybe you could keep them with a pair of apistos. Would be colorful and pretty, and the corys could probably stay.

or a pair of Nanochromis parilus, it's a dwarf african. i've always wanted to try them, but haven't seen them in anything but photographs.

will dwarf puffers not eat neon size fish?
I could also go brackish with this tank which might be cool?

There are so many pretty apistos...pricey little things though!!!

Dwarfs max out at about an inch. They might chew 'em up a bit, but no deaths. At least not in my 10G. Try at your own risk. I keep 1 DP with 9 neons with no deaths.

im saying dwarf pike would be cool
whatever you would like would be good though

It is bright lime green...:irked::irked:

Well I am now having my first full blown attack of green water in this tank..I have had every other sort of algae so I guess I was due for it.

This tank was PACKED full of plants because I was using it as a growout tank So i am suprised this happened, all parameters are good and the tank is well established So im a little bit stumped.

Should I leave the Cories in there or move them and maybe add a package of triops eggs which only seems to grow daphnia for me?

It would be a cheaper fix then a UV or a diatom filter

I was excited to get new fish this week too:nilly::nilly::nilly:
