i have a 30 gallon standard and i am stumped at to what to put in it. i am looking for a single cichlid situation if possible but i want something other than a convict. any suggestions??? 5 spot jewel maybe???

I'm partial to angelfish myself. You could buy 6 babies, raise them until two of them pair off, then sell back the others to the petstore for a nice credit or something.

You could do a pair of fire mouths in a 30. Not too keen on the single chiclid idea unless it's a bigger, more assertive CA/SA chiclid (which we would never-ever put in a tank so small)
