Multies( Neolamprologus multifasciatus )or crayfish

You have different opinions and theres some species that is suited for your 30gal.

Mudminnows
Topminnows, killifish, studfish
pike livebearer
orangespotted, bantam, banded, bluespotted and dollar sunfish
few shiner/dace/minnow species
darters
sculpins
pirate perch

I have 30 i use for Killer Whales. But hey i like overstocked tanks. jk jk seriously i have a 30 i use as a planted tropical tank. Guppies mollys snail, stuff the wife thinks is pretty. It and the 5 on her desk is how i do what i want with the 60 and 180... :)

Nope, the darters dont need very cold water.

iv kept my sculpin in 68. he currently lives in sub 60 but was in barely sub 70. same as the darters iv kept. What is the temp range for darters? tesselated mainly.

I'd go for a longear sunfish. Can't go wrong especially if it's a male.
