So, I'm getting a 50-55 gallon tank. I'm doing a live planted tank, so I'm setting up the C02 injection, and getting all the plants first and setting them up till they're growing and lots of oxygen in the tank then I'll worry about the fish.

The question is, if I want an Angelfish tank, what would be the best tank mates for him. I'm looking for schooling fish that will keep together.

I wouldn't mind some exotic schooling fish if possible.

Thanks for reading

That's a very good suggestion, I've been google creeping them, and saw a nice tank on youtube that is pretty close to what I'd like for my home tank.

Just as a reference, I love the schooling of those fish.

Thanks. Anyone else have any suggestion?

some nice exotic killies would look great. maybe some loaches for the lower level too. i would def add some MTS if you have a planted tank too. i have some in all my planted tanks. columbian tetras look nice against a planted background too

Ya, I really like that loaches idea. Specially if I can find the black and yellow striped ones, those would look great, but do they always stay on the bottom unless feeding?
