Wassup everyone....man it's been a long time....I want to get a Managuense....Is 1 ideal for a 75 or could I squeeze in 2.....i have my 220 that I could always put 1 in. Honestly I would love to buy more than 2 and see if I can get a breeding pair. I wouldn't mind buying a bigger tank...but not too big as this tank is going in my room.

I think a 75g long term would be to tighht for the male and not enough space for the female to get some peace.

A female could live in there solo for life.

not enough room for one never mind two.. if it's a growing tank and your upgrading in future, go for it!! cool cichlid though!! you should go for it and upgrade to a 150 down the line... you can get great deals second hand!!

o and female in a bare 75 gallon tank... lol maybe if it was bare.. who would do that though?... kinda mean to the fish and to you and anyone elses eyes that walks in your house

A 120 I could fit in my room....should I do that?....thanx for the quick replies!!!

Get it if you can. You could grow some out in a 75 until you find the two that you want. But that will be very quickly. Jags grow very fast. I think a 120 would be great for a pair. Just provide some places for the female to go in case the male gets too aggressive when he's ready to breed.
