Ok, so the big enclosure I just built has 2 empty sections. Both measure 2'deep X 20" wide X 13" high.
What should I put in there? thinking some kind of lizard or gecko maybe. Any ideas/suggestions?
1 of the compartments does not have heat tape installed in it. but because of the heat from surrounding enclosures it stays between 75-80 degrees ambient temp.
The other does have heat tape installed that can easily be put on it's own thermostat (I wired all the compartments to be individually controlled.)
so, what would you put in each? I don't think I want any more snakes right now.

That, or...

- western hognose
- Kenyan sand boa

How much substrate can it hold?

Again, bad with dimensions. Let me know if I totally screwed it up :P

pretty sure I mentioned I didn't want another snake.
But as far as substrate, there is a 1 3/4" inch lip on it by the door.
Lizards are the reptile of choice here.

Sorry, wasnt paying attention.

1 3/4 eh? That takes out pretty much anything burrowing.

Like vicious said, pretty much any ground gecko. :) Good luck with your search.

Uromastyx would be a no-no, sorry. You need some DEEP substrate and heavy duty lighting. Just wont work in that setup. Dont even mention newpaper.

Those other 3 are pretty good choices. Good luck.

If you could get a hold of a pair of Armadillo Lizards, that'd be my choice.

I've had Emerald Swifts before, there ok.

I agree that the Uromastyx won't work, but they are a cool lizard that I hope to get someday.

LG's are easy to breed and keep plus there are a lot of cool color patterns out there if you're into that.

Nu-uh. Don't.
