I have a small breeding set up and currently do t have many fry I recently sold off a complete batch and have a empty tank but the water is cycled and I will need it in a month or so
my question is should I bother emptying the water and just stick filters in other tanks for now or should I just leave it running will my BB be weak if it has no amonia source comming from a 40 fish cycled tank? I got some snails I can throw in but anything else as far as fish would be inconvenient for me as far as cleaning and feeding it's a 40b tank split in 2 so a 20g cube tank pretty much

Stick filters in other tank that's already up and running

i was wondering this today myself, so xracer your saying the bb will die off without any ammonia?

I may just get a dozen feeders and toss then in even though I asked this I was hopeing to leave it runnin lol

Feeders can introduce disease. Why not dose ammonia every few days or toss some food in to rot
