i have a 110 galon long, ive had salt and fresh water in its carreer.... eventually its gonna end up fresh water again... probably africans, but maybe something larger....

what types of filtration would you recomend??? i formerly used a homemade wetdry filter, but it is revy loud, so im gonna buy a filter....

Fluval(sp???) Fx-5 I thinks is the biggest one that they make, and is suppose to to be a real nice filter.

FX5's are awesome and would be the only filter that you would need for a 110 they move 925 gph and are great here is the cheapest place to get them from this ebay seller $230 shipped to your door i ordered one.....

is it a biological filter?? sounds like it creates quite a current...

well it s a canister that can honestly be filled with whatever you want... the current issue can be solved several ways.. you can split the return into several lines and into several areas or you could hook the return up to a secondary filter (ie. ungravel filter... or what i am doin biowheels) the biowheels are easy to hook up i am using the ones that you buy as ad ons for the magnum 350 filter because they are made to be hooked up to a canister

im thinkin about the ehiem wetdry, maybe along side a good canister.... do the wetdry filters work well with fresh water???
