Just moved a bunch of my fish around and cleared some space. I now have an empty 20 tall, a 20 long, and a 10. All I know is I definitely want tangs. The 3 on the table for me are neolamp.brevis, neolamp.caudopunctatus, daffodils, and julie.marlieri. I am not sure where any of those should go but I know I'm definitely getting the julies and more than likely the daffodils too. Not sure where the shellies should go if I do get them, should the brevis go in the 10 and then let the julies share a tank with the caudopunctatus? I've always heard julies make good shelldweller tank mates.
Open to suggestions for any other species but the main question is where to put things.

Agree with brevis in the 10. Daffodils are best as a species tank in a 29G but the 20L has the same length and might work.

I don't think I would do julidochromis in a 20 tall.

I would want a 36" tank for both shellies and julidochromis.

Yea I figured daffodils would be best if left on their own, and same with the julies, but more for aesthetics on their part

Altolamprologus Compressiceps Sumbu dwarf would be an option. I really want to try them in one of my Tang tanks but they are already established colonies and adding the Sumbu would be promlematic.

I've considered sumbus, I love them and all but they're a little too far out of my price range for shellies lol
