Endi Breathing Hard

my endi seems to be opening and closing its mouth rapidly ever since he ate some feeder fish.
could he be choking or is he just trying to digest the fish?

My senegal does the same thing after eating feeders. Not sure what it's all about but mine goes back to normal after a little while.

No more than a couple hours, I don't know what would make it breathe unnaturally hard for days.
