endi died

one of my endi's died to day and yester day one of my dats in the same tank died. My water is great a few days ago I got a new pack of Seachem Purigen for this tank and some more blood worms I took the purigen out of the tank and I will go pick up some more blood worms tomarow. wich one do you think may of killed him? by the way he was about 6 inches

What was the condition of the body? Was it bloated, or any noticeable red areas?

I wouldn't feed blood worms to a poly that size. They need meatier foods like shrimp, earthworms, krill, etc..

he was floating a little bloated but not to much. they don't just eat blood worms they also realy like carnivore pellets.I feed blood worms because thats the only thing the dats in that tank will eat.I will pick up some shrimp tomarow and see if they like it.This is my first time raising Polypterus it's kind of learn as I go. hope fully the others in the tank will be fine.The one that died also was a bit smaller then the others I have all where the same age and un like the others he lost his gills at ony 3" where all the others still have theres at about 7+" I don't know if that realy means any thing. any ways any input you guys can give me would be great.
