my endi laid about 300 eggs all over her tank yesterday
(whilst I was at work
)
they are about as round as a match head.
pic below
so I have some Q's
can I borrow a male endi to fertilize them? there may be a local male endi owner willing to stud out his male
if so how long would the eggs be viable? or should I remove them now?
is there a cycle of egg production so I could time the introduction of a male for their possible mating,and is there any danger in doing this?
interestingly I had moved my endi from a big 6ft by 30" wide tank to a smaller 4 x 18 x 18 and the cooler autumn weather here in Australia made the tank temp from 27C to 25C
my endi diet is a normal 1 or 2 hardy heads per day and the odd pellet
occasional live food and frozen turtle food (for calcium)
please any advice welcome thanks
