I bought a new 15" Endli about 5 days ago. I am always checking to see how he is coping with his new pond mates, a 28" ID shark and a 26" Golden clownknife. Well I never thought I would see what I saw. I always feed in the same corner. The endli was in that corner one feeding time. I thought this would be great, he will learn that is the feeding area. I dropped in the massivore food, watching it fall on his head and body. Along comes my ID, he tries to push the endle away. No luck. So the ID gentle pushes him till the endi is now across his nose, like a letter T. The ID eats all the massivore and then gently lets the endli down. Unreal. I bring my video camera down to every feeding now. I guess the big fish really like the new guy, and his food. The endli will learn to eat asap. He is now curling around his food so they others cant get it. The clownknife has figured this out and swims in like a vacuum cleaner, head down, body straight up. Wow. I always like to watch my fish swim around but to have my own circus act is even better. I named the endli Borogon. That was the name of a Godzilla enemy, that looked like a lizard and had two horns on his head. After all, I know own a dinosaur/monster, so to speak.
