One of my big Nigerian Endlis is acting a little strange. When resting, the back half of her body flops over sideways, while her head stays upright. The body starts to twist after her pectoral fin area. Instead of pointing upward or vertical, her dorsal spines point sideways or horizontal. I first thought it had something to do with the swim bladder, but she never has any floatation problems. Its almost like the fish has a broken spine. When she swims around or goes up for air, she looks normal, but once she stops on the bottom, it flops over. She is eating fine, but this condition is getting worse. Any ideas?
