endli loosing slime coat

i've had my endli for exactly a week. its about 7". today i noticed something floating in the water and saw the endli was loosing its slime coat. i have 6 other bichirs and they're all fine. i've never dealt with the before. yes i have a bristlenose pleco and a fei feng in the tank and neither suck on the bichirs. they know to keep away from them.

suggestions? he's eating fine and breathing fine.

I wouldn't be so sure they aren't sucking the slimecoat off when your not looking in the middle of the night. Can you separate them for long enough to find out if this is the case?
