As the topic says, my endli is really active and swims up and down the tank. Hes around 5-7 inches and round 1 months or so. Could there be anything wrong?

Hes housed with a nile perch and around 15 feeders. DO problems? Filtration is working nice and nit level is low. Or is this normal?

Hmmm... He used to be the smallest in his old tank and would usually just stay under a log or hover around plants. He quickly grew and outgrew some tankmates.

I wouldnt say he used to be lethargic, just not "this" active.

Re the food, im pretty sure he's eating well. :l

Maybe im just being over-anxious?:/

Unless there were other symptoms like not eating etc would count it lucky to be an active endli. My endli was active from day one. Always entertaining to watch.

I don't really have any experience on polypterus, but talk about fish in general: your fish should be a bit more brave and used to his surrounding environment as he grow bigger. Also when he out grow his tank mate his position of domination in the tank also change, he might have a fight with his tank mate in the pass when he decided to stand up again the bully that been picking on him and realized that he is bigger and stronger. This should be normal but you still have to look out for his change in aggression as when he know he can be the boss, he will be the BOSS.
