I started feeding my delhezi guppys and I seriously do not know how he gets a hold of him. CAn endlis hunt down guppys too? I know ornates can but endlis seem sluggish and stay at the bottom of the tank. The reason I ask is because I'm thinking about getting an endli.

Should not have a problem he will eat them, but you could just get sinking pellets, all my polys eat from the top cichlid gold. If you want to take less trips to the lfs for the guppys.

My endlis go to the surface to feed on the dry krill I feed my Arowana all the time. They also sometimes catch sinking pellets on their way down to the bottom. They are certainly not sedentary... at least not mine.

Yes...don't underestimate the hunting skills of an Endli:D

When the lights go out, that sluggish looking Endi most likely turns into a pretty fierce predatory.

Both my Endi's are fairly inactive during the day. I feed them at lights out, their activity changes dramatically.

I would think that Guppy's if that is what you choose to feed would not be a problem at all for your Endi's

they are predators and display both active and passive hunting practices but they
are generaly considered ambush predators-Anne

they can get it
