Endlicheri question

I received an endlicheri that I had ordered 2 weeks ago. It's 4" long and doing very well.

Now my question...

It has a weird pattern that I have not seen on endlis before(I'm still fairly new at this btw).

This little guy I got has stripes. Horizontal stripes. Is it possible or was I sold the wrong kind of poly?

Yeah, some of the farm bred endlicheri has horizontal fine stripes. Anyway, some photos might help to verify.

yea thats no endlicheri... thats a lapradei... it has very nice markings though!

So, should I complain to the fish store that I him from? I paid $40 for him.

yeah that´s a lap well if you don´t like him complaint if not order an other and specify that they got your order wrong maybe a discont

I do like him, it's just not what I ordered. I'll keep him and try ordering a real endlicheri.
