i think the nates are better looking IMO and the price is much better, wonder why people are more fascinated with endlis, any reasons guys?

Personally I really like the pattern of ornates, maybe more so than endlis. But every ornate I've ever had has been pretty aggressive compared to all the other poly's I've had. I wouldn't want a tank filled with them because of that. All then endlis I had were pretty chill. Also the flat squished face of endlis give them a very unique look, and they get bigger.

ahhh, i see. i always keep them together but seperate the specie. these ornas and endlis are all together but at this size highly doubtful to see ones swallowing the other lol...larger sizes i have seen it try to happen lol...but thanks for that info, good to see the customer/ other hobbiest... point of view.

Thanks, it cracked me up too lol.

Never really had my ornates eat other bichirs, they were just really nippy towards any of my other bichirs or any other fish for that matter. Size didn't matter, they just seemed like grumpy, nippy fish. I love seeing bichir "piles" and it's usually with endlis, my ornates didn't like anyone to invade their personal space.
