A pity you put it that way, Dixon, on the most noble of sports..

I love the springbocks, Nitrobacter, but it so happens that england is playing with 2 teams, ie, the 15 member team, and John Wilkinson ( that praying mantis is worth a team all of its own).

And Percy is no match, neither here nor in any other planet, for Johny Wilkinson.

Would love for SA to win. England will win.

if you want to see hand played rugby you have to stoop lower in the echelon...all potential worldchampions start kicking when the going gets tough...it is called strategic rugby..the beauty greatly fades, of course.. you're right there..

ive just never been able to get into it as a sport too watch, i played it at school quite a bit but i was better at other sports and actually javelin was my forte.
its funny as my family have a history in rugby league as my grandfather played for Workington RLFC years ago.
its the same with cricket i played quite a bit but its not something i can watch and i am also like this with golf, i can play but i'm a poor spectator.
i can watch football and play too, strange eh.

yeah the only sports i can watch is football and boxing, i box, play football and rugby.
i have always been told that rugby is better than football if you are playing but football is better for watching. i kinda think this is true because in rugby if you go the games you carnt see why the penalty was given but in football its mostly quite clear cut why

i feel quite the opposite...what I cannot watch is a football game, be it live, be it on the tv..

rugby, on the other hand, is simple to follow, has true sportsmanship, the game makes sense, the respect for the referees is a lesson to all other sports and fans, the ambiance, with fans of opposing teams sitting side by side, so tottally dierent from football.

Rugby is a fantastic school of life. All young boys should have a go at it.
