I've just bought a second hand 270L (about 70 US gallons) tank + filter, heater, stand and some tank decorations. The filter is an AquaOne Aquis 700 which the previous owner emphatically insists is enough to properly filter the whole tank, even though the website recommends that it's only suitable for tanks up to 170L.
I would much rather be on the safe side though and get myself another filter, large enough to properly filter the whole tank in combination with the AquaOne. What filters have you had the best results with and what size filter would be suitable to supply enough filtration when in use with the AquaOne?
