Filtration includes a 30G wet/dry with lots of bio-balls and some carbon bags.

A fluval 405 with bio-noodles at the bottom, carbon in the middle and water polishing pads at the top.

A filstar rated for 30G filled to the brim with biomedia, ie: ceramic rocks, bio-noodles, etc.

Is this enough, or should I throw on a Fluval Fx5 as well? :naughty:

It depends on what you will have in the tank. If you will have rays and/or arowana I'd add the FX5. Even with a lighter load, it wouldn't hurt to have extra filtration.

I will be stocking it semi-heavy, im thinking of going a little overboard and throwing on a FX5 and an ac110.... hmm i dont know if I should use biomedia in the Fx5 however.

If it were me, I'd add a bit more mechanical filtration....so maybe use the FX5 with half pads/sponge/floss, and the other half bio balls or ceramic media, etc. ???

Sounds good...Add two HOB's.....
