I have a 125 Gallon aquarium. I was wondering if a Fluval FX5, a Magnum 350, and a Aquaclear 110 would be enough for 5 (6") Red Belly's and some Tetras. I do 25% water changes weekly and feed every other day. I also have a Magnum 220 that I could run on the tank if needed.

Sounds like a good set up, Do some testing that is the only way to be sure. The water test should be Amonina-0 nitrites-0 and your nitrates should be below 40 ppm but I keep mine down below 20ppm for my RBPs. The nitrates you can't filter out, you get rid of them through your water changes

That is more than enough filtration, but I think the Ps are gonna eat the Tetras. The FX5 could do that job itself but it is always good to have backups.

Wow good mechanical filters should be plenty. Be sure to stuff with Biological media and take care of it (only rinse in aquarium water).

Nicely done....
"Kick it up another knotch..."Add a wet/dry filter to the combo punch....

Personally, I keep my mechanical filtration uniformed...It JUST looks good:naughty: ...
