Enough is enough!!...

Now i know that when fish get moved(to a different tank) sometimes they act differently-hunger strike.But one of these cats is a 14"TSN and the other is a 12'' Marbled cat.Its been 3 days now,i have tried shimp,earthworms and chicken(wich is what they were eating before).I thought the TSN was going to take a shrimp today,but all he did was bump it with his nose.I am getting so pissed all my other cats are eating like beasts.I for sure that Marbled cats are eating machines,but not mine.Any advice or suggestions are GREATLY appreciated!!!

Are your water parameters different than where they came from by a large margin?

Do they have hiding spots?

Are the lights off?

They may just be uncomfortable still.

Hey D D ,don't get too worried yet , it took almost a week for your rct x tsn to start eating and as yet he still will not take shrimp.. actually he did not eat until I got the rtc in with him..

Check water parameters always. You could add a few drops of garlic extract. It's an appetite enhancer.

Not sure,but i do daily water changes,there are some rocks in a corner of the tank,i only turn the lights on for a couple of hours at night.They seem happy swimming all around the tank.

Sometimes it takes big cats a while to settle in....
