So, I'm going to be setting up my 120g soon, after all this time, and obviously it will have polys, as all tank should. The problem is, I can't decide which polys to go with. On one hand, I'd love to stuff it full to the brim with albino sens, regular sens, or dels, but on the other hand, I'd love just one or two big polys, maybe a cong and an ansorgii. I was curious as to what you all though about cohabbing the big'uns and little'uns. Now, just to clarify, the big'uns may not be in the 120g permanently, but the little'uns will be. If I did cohab, it would be with close to full-grown little'uns, and not even close to full grown big'uns. Opinions?

i have a 4" sen with a 12" lapradei. they are fine, i think it just depends on the fish

Yeah, I guess so.
Although, I'm still not sure about it. I suppose the worst thing that could happen is I'll lose a $4 sen.

i have 8 bichirs that are 9~12" with 3 4~6" bichirs no problem xD

Yeah, the only problem I see arising is if the big'uns are over two feet and the little'uns aren't even one foot.

oh dunno lol

I think it depends on the fish. I have had endlis eat other polys close to 2/3 their own size. Keep them well fed ;)

Yeah. I guess that's the general consensus. I always like to keep my fish very well-fed, sometimes too much, so that won't be an issue. Thanks!

I had a baby endli eat a slightly smaller baby endli, even after it was fat from a meal of shrimp.

I've got the same 4x2x2 footprint, and I'll be keeping a mix of upper jaws with some CB endlis as well.

I plan on keeping them in there for life.
