- So whats the first thing you thing this is?

At first glance you could be forgiven for thinking that gray area is a bunch of coral or rocks jutting out of the ocean. Or maybe it's a scene from space?

In actual fact, it's thousands of Munkiana Devil Rays off the coast of Baja California Sur in Mexico. The snap secured photographer Florian Schulz's winning placement in the Chartered Institution of Water and Environmental Management's annual awards, which had 4,500 entries from 97 different countries. All of the winning photos are exhibited at the Air Gallery in London, between the 25th - 30th October.

Ah, to be a fly on the wall when something like that happens. Awesome picture. I dig how they're all close together and then there's one playing outside of the rest on the surface by himself. There's always one guy doing his own thing lol.
