Hello all,

I was hoping some of you could help me with a interview i need to do for my environmental science class. Its really simple. I just need you to answer a few questions if you could. This is all opinions so please dont argue with each other:D I know how things work on the forums;)

The first question is

1. Do yo believe in global warming?

2. If there is global warming is it caused by people? (only answer if question 1 was a yes)

3. In the movie "The Day After Tomorrow" a scientist explains there is no global warming but that the Earth is really just going in a cycle. What do you have to say about this?

4. If global warming were caused by people what could be dont to help the environment out? (For those of you who dont think global warming is real or that it was caused by people, just answer this hypothetically please)

5. According to scientists fossil fuels are a big part of global warming. How long, do you think, before we will no longer need fossil fuels?

And the last question, thank you for bearing with me:D

6. What are some of the things you do to help relieve stress on the environment?

Thanks in advance for your help!

1. As a scientist myself, yes, you can't ignore evidence.

2. and 3. I know the earth goes through natural cycles (hence ice ages and such) and all we has humans did was accelerate the process. We did not cause global warming to occur, just faster and earlier then it would have naturally happened.

4. Cut back on carbon dioxide emissions for one! We need a much larger industry in the renewable energy field. (wind power is my personal favorite, but not practical in all areas of the world just like solar isn't practical everywhere.) GeoThermal is up and coming too, especially in the Norwegian countries and has a lot to offer.

5. Answered part of it in number four, but in all honesty I don't think it will happen any time soon. The faster we become non dependent on it the better, but we rely on it too much and people wouldn't be willing to sacrifice too much. (Nuclear Fission would be awesome as long as we can find a cheap way to mine H3 from the moon as it is incredibly rare on earth, but the moon is abundant in it.)

6. The less dependent we are on fossel fuels the better for the environment. We as humans are the only race that is knowingly killing off our species and all species on earth with what we are doing to it. If you ask me humans are a burden to the planet because of what we have done to it, and possibly the stupidest because we are destroying our only home.

Thank you very much. Your input was much better than my family and friends input.

anyone else have opinions? this is due soon and i need to do a write up. Thanks.

The first question is

1. Do yo believe in global warming? Yes, there is global warming.

2. If there is global warming is it caused by people? (only answer if question 1 was a yes). No I dont not believe that global warming was caused by people. It's a natural process that the earth would go through. I do think that people have contributed to making it happen at a more excellerated rate, but I dont think that we caused it.

3. In the movie "The Day After Tomorrow" a scientist explains there is no global warming but that the Earth is really just going in a cycle. What do you have to say about this? The earth is going through a cycle, just with added help by humans.

4. If global warming were caused by people what could be dont to help the environment out? (For those of you who dont think global warming is real or that it was caused by people, just answer this hypothetically please)Stop relying on our current resources and explore other more natural options. Wind and water are great things to look into and invest in.

5. According to scientists fossil fuels are a big part of global warming. How long, do you think, before we will no longer need fossil fuels? A very long time. It would be awesome if this were sooner, but we are extremely dependent on fossil fules, people are afraid of change and politics also have a lot to do with it.

And the last question, thank you for bearing with me:D

6. What are some of the things you do to help relieve stress on the environment?
I try to carpool when I can. I try not to use electricity that I dont really need to be using (ex. I dont leave lights on in places that I am not using) or small things like that.

Thanks in advance for your help!

The first question is

2. If there is global warming is it caused by people? (only answer if question 1 was a yes) No.

3. In the movie "The Day After Tomorrow" a scientist explains there is no global warming but that the Earth is really just going in a cycle. What do you have to say about this? Not only the Earths' natural processes should be considered, but also the sun.

4. If global warming were caused by people what could be dont to help the environment out? (For those of you who dont think global warming is real or that it was caused by people, just answer this hypothetically please) Solar panel on every home in the world.

5. According to scientists fossil fuels are a big part of global warming. How long, do you think, before we will no longer need fossil fuels? 20 years for cars, 100 industrially

And the last question, thank you for bearing with me:D

6. What are some of the things you do to help relieve stress on the environment? Turn off lights, turn off water when brushing, dive very little.

Thanks in advance for your help!
