Normally I pull dart frog eggs and artificially hatch them but have been having trouble doing that with the SI's. Everytime I pull two or 3 clutchs they find a new hiding spot to try to keep me from finding them. As a result I finally gave in and allowed them to keep a clutch and was lucky enough to catch the male transporting some of the tads.

It was a small clutch and I think he had 5 on his back for these pics...but I'm a little stoked to have gotten a couple shots of it...

Awesome! Any full enclosure pics? I love seeing how people keep there dart frogs, as I'd like to keep some in the future.

iv always wanted to try dart frogs and had a very nice enclosure built(had a nice waterfall and everything) but chickened out and the tank got messed up while moving it :(

I don't have any at the moment but will try to take some over the weekend. I actually keep quite a few dart frogs but all of my enclosures (except 1) are pretty much the same...10 gallon tanks with sphagnum and/or coir substrate and live plants. I have produced MANY frogs in identical set-ups over the years and hope to produce many more.

You should try it! There are some species/morphs that have gotten to be pretty reasonable in price and they really aren't that hard to keep. Hardest thing about them is keeping a steady supply of fruit flies around and after a while that gets to be kinda relaxing too.

wow very nice i'm going to get some for a 240g tank prolly 2 pairs and how much do they breed also is 150 a good price for a pair

For SI's 150 is a pretty good price for a pair.
I have a trio and they lay right about once a month right now (they are still young) but they call CONSTANTLY! The biggest clutch I have gotten from this group so far is 22 eggs...they are kinda the bunnies of the dart frog world in that way :D

Here are some enclosure (and set-up) pics...like I said, almost all are pretty much the same...
