that is like comparing emo to metal.. danny filth tries to be evil and by doing so sounds like the anger-smurf being strangled.. Immortal is one of the old true black metal bands.. but then again, I've heard people calling children of bodom bm..

you youngins (I'm 21) just have no class when it comes to metal, you just don't know the basics.. it's like hip-hopers thinking 50 was the first to do anything just because that's whats being played on commersial radio..

I might add, the roots of black metal are complete trash. I can't even tell what's black metal anymore. I gave up on these subgenres and started listened to what I liked. (in metal)

fyi bro, I haven't listened to slipknot for about this whole year. No, I've listened to the music aqua sanctuary sent me, which he said the founders of black metal or something along those lines so I'm not going quote him. it was utter ****. Venom is also utter ****.

go back to your petty Celtic Frost, Venom, Bathory, Hellhammer, Rotting Christ, Darkthrone.

I'll go back to my black label society, fireball ministry, motorhead, cream, various jams from who i do not know(mainly bass and funk orientated), gojira, amon amarth, pantera, tool, a perfect circle... Nvm, I give up....
