Saw this at Walmart this morning while shopping, it says it's pothos. Could I put it in my tank to eat up nitrates?

It's a house plant. You can put the roots in the water and have the rest of the plant out of the water. It will soak up nitrates that way.

I'm assuming. The same way one would for lucky bamboo?
