Epsom or Aquarium

I'm a bit confused on when to use epsom salt. I've alwasy used regular aquarium salt. What is the benefit of epsom?
 
dont know about epsom salt, but you dont need to use "aquarium salt". just use water softener salt in the big bags. just be sure to get the one w/o any additives

Thanks jcardona, ididn't know that, that would save alot of money.
 
no problem. i use this one personally use this one from Morton. $5 for a 40lb bag lasts a very long time...
