Epsom salt is different than the salt used in aquariums for say ick. Epsom salt is really only good for constipation and then should be removed.

Hey guys,

I think my female betta is constipated. I have fed peas for almost 2 weeks skipping some days. Still nothing. My next attempt was gonna be with epsom salts. But I don;t know how to use it. COuld anyone give me a procedure? Should I isolate the fish?

soak food in epsom at .3per cent solution. RD has a pretty good thread about it here somewhere...
