Will this harm mainly my pleco and pangasius catfish? Im thinking some of my fancies need a system flush and was gonna get some Epsom salts.

Well I was gonna dose it, I guess .25 tablespoons per 10gallon as I read. Then do a water change about 6-8 hours later. Im googling as we speak but nothing so far about catfish and the salt.

1/4tsb per 10g would be fine, i'd only get worried if you got up to 1tsb/2g or higher. i know a guy who treated his pleco tank for ich using a high concentration of salt and 86* water

Ok well I got Equaline Epsom salt. $1.31 with taxes for 1 lb. Did 1.5 table spoons. Mixed it with 2.5 cups water and dumped it in. Time will tell.

Well so far over 1 hr in and no poop is flying. Some how in my mind I am expecting to see a disaster haha

I always recommend 1tbsp/10g, for FW fish.

I have not heard of any fish being harmed by short term treatment with epsom salts
