I need some help here, my hump head geo pare just spawned, I had fed some pieces of salmon finely chopped last week and now this week the male is not eating, he spazzes out and darts violently into the sand and objects then seemed to briefly turn belly up twitching and almost jumping out of the tank. This was the second such episode and hese spending a great deal of time on the bottom or not moving.... I described the behavior to my lfs and they didn't have an answer. It seems a parasite to me, the fjsh looked crazy stressed an was rapid Gil pumping after the episode. Does anyone have insight ?
Erratic behavior from parasite?

No other fish in the tank are like this, a third red hump geo female, a feather fin cat, 8 columbian tetras an a gold nugget pleco. Just the spawning pare seem to be sick....could it be gill flukes? They both have become skinny and are not eating all in a matter of two days.
