Ery ery 40b. vs 55

I'm curious of the notable personality differences when kept in 40b and 55, (Example: more aggression when kept in a 40b, but more active in the 55) since they seem to interchange in terms of minimal tank size. I plan to keep one as a wetpet. I currently have a 40b, however I am willing to get a 55 if needed. As far as I'm aware they can be kept in 40b as long as they are alone, if not, please tell me otherwise.

55g is better. Plus can add a tankmate or two.

Tanks size won't make the fish more or less aggressive. But if doing a 40b then will need to be a solo fish.

If kept solo then anything out in there will only be food likely.

As far as activity. If fed daily then will become less active. If fed every other day it'll be more active. Especially when you as the owner come by.

Get the 55g....ur red wolf will appreciate it.

An 18" wide tank is ideal for a full grown adult, 48x18 is perfect.

ive had them in both and really havent seen much of an activity difference, nor have i had any aggression issues. i agree with the feeding thing though. mines in a 150 now and even in that really they are still pretty lazy

Just like people they have their own personality lol
