I know a few of you guys have had some success with this pair as long as the pleco is well fed and with a little luck the wolf wont kill em. The main reason I ask is I do not really trust my rubbermaid tank for long term and I friend recently gave me a 20 long so I wanted to transfer my Dawrf gourami, pictus cat, and black molly to it and put my pleco with my erythrinus, because he wouldn't be happy in the 20 for long hes around 3 inches my wolf is around 4.5. Im most likely going to try it but I would love some feedback.

plecos love to suck on the slime coat of slow moving fish. be careful.

Make sure the pleco is well fed or he may go after the wolfs slime as Lix said already. I usually go with a dozen otocinclus sucker cats and let my bichirs and wolf pick them off, gives me some peace of mind over putting plecos with em. If your tank doesnt have a solid coat of algae i would for sure add some algae wafers for it to suck on. Ive heard of people walking in on plecos chasing polys and such for the slime coat. Just be careful is the pleco smaller or larger then the wolf?

LOL i didnt see the first post just thought you put up the pic but it seems you have your bases covered! Good Luck!

Yeah the slime coat was something I read alot into. But i held off cleaning my tank for a week and half or so before this so i built some algea up and i will be getting some waffers of some kind. So far so good though there was one moment when my wolf just kinda inched towards the pleco looking at it like wtf is this. Then she like half ass nipped at the pleco and then.jump swam off. Shes been swimming near the pleco and swimming over to her when she swims.to.the other side. I must say this can pack on the algea almost all the tank is clean not counting the pvc
